The Spooker Returns!

The 42nd Annual Spooker Honoring John Stand at the mighty Tri-State Speedway returns this season with over $77,000 up for grabs, starting on October 20th and continuing through the 23rd. This year’s event will feature racing in twelve different classes from Front Wheel Drives and Mini-Stocks through Open Late Models and everything in between.

Besides the qualifying and heat races over three days of competition, this year’s event will also feature two complete shows for the USRA Modifieds with one each on Friday, paying $1,000 to win, and Saturday night, paying $2,000 to win.

Also, the final 42 laps of the 23rd Annual Super Stock Showdown Honoring Randy Russell, paying $5,000 to win, will be held on Friday night of this year’s Spooker.

If you’ve never been to a Spooker and experienced “the Spooker”, you’re in for an absolutely great time. Not too many single events have been around for 42 years, so it is a privilege to say you’ve been to one and how many you’ve been to. The Spooker is not just an event, it’s a destination!

A camping/RV area will once again be available for free and will be located on the grass area behind turns one and two to the north of the public parking lot. There are not hookups, although we are working to get a dump station, but it may not be for this year’s event.

The collectible Spooker shirts will once again return this year with all the previous Late Model and Modified winners from the previous Spookers. The design and pricing will be available soon.

Who can add their name to these lists for 2021? Can anyone repeat the feat of Ryan “The Reaper” Gustin with wins in both of the two big classes from last year’s version?
