The 43rd Annual Spooker!
The 43rd Annual Spooker Honoring John Stand at the mighty Tri-State Speedway returns this season with over $78,000 up for grabs, starting on October 19th and continuing through the 22nd. This year’s event will feature racing in eleven different classes from Front Wheel Drives and Mini-Stocks through Open Late Models and everything in between.
Besides the qualifying and heat races over three days of competition, this year’s event will also feature two complete shows for the USRA Modifieds with one each on Friday, paying $1,000 to win, and Saturday night, paying $2,000 to win. Open late models will once again be paying $3,000 to win. The USRA Factory Stocks on Saturday night will also be paying $3,000 to win thanks to American Storm and Power! Also, to the Area Factory Stocks are now $1,000 to win thanks to an anonymous donor! The USRA B-Mod money on Saturday night, has also been upped by an additional $1,000, thanks to OFC Docks & Repair, to the feature winner's pay making it now $2,500 to win!
If you’ve never been to a Spooker and experienced “the Spooker”, you’re in for an absolutely great time. Not too many single events have been around for 43 consecutive years, so it is a privilege to say you’ve been to one and how many you’ve been to. The Spooker is not just an event, it’s a destination!
A camping/RV area will once again be available for free and will be located on the grass area behind turns one and two to the north of the public parking lot. There are not hookups, although. It's always a fun time to camp out and meet new friends!
The collectible Spooker shirts will once again return this year with all the previous Late Model and Modified winners from the previous Spookers. The design and pricing will be available soon.
Who can add their name to these lists for 2022? Can anyone repeat the feat of Ryan “The Reaper” Gustin with wins in both of the two big classes from the 2020 version?
