1. No factory type shoulder belts or straps can be used. Racing belts are required on shoulders and seat and are not to be more than one (1) year old.
2. Helmet: Snell 90, SA 95 or better recommended.
3. Window nets, neck braces & fire suits are mandatory.
4. MUST HAVE WORKING FIRE EXTINGUISHER MOUNTED SECURELY. NO WIRE TIES. 

1. Any American OEM full body rear wheel drive passenger car. 1955 or newer, full frame or unibody car. Frame must match body and body must be OEM mounts in stock location.
2. Wheelbase must match car, with no difference in length from side to side.
3. Frame must remain unaltered. Frames may be “X” braced.
4. Factory floor pan must remain unaltered.
5. Camaros and Firebirds allowed. Strut cars allowed. Unibody cars may tie frames together.
6. Trailing arms must match car and remain unaltered.
7. Front shocks must be inside of coil springs.
8. Frame can be tubed – round or square from center of rear end housing to rear bumper.
9. May not alter spring buckets, must remain stock.

1. Main cage must consist of continuous hoops. 1.75” O.D. tubing, with a wall thickness of at least. 095” low carbon or mild steel.
2. Four post roll cage required, front down bars & rear hoop must be welded to OEM frame. Driver’s head must not protrude outside roll cage with helmet on.
3. Rear hoop must have “X” brace. Front down bars must be tied together.
4. All door bars and uprights must be min 1.75” x  .095” wall thickness.
5. Minimum of three door bars on both sides, parallel to ground, & perpendicular to driver. Minimum of four (4) uprights tied from front to top door bar on driver side and minimum of three (3) uprights on passenger side.
6. Driver’s side 1/8” thick doorplate is mandatory. Steel only.

BODY

1. All bodies must be OEM in OEM location & match body.
2. Five (5) inch Spoilers OK.
3. Hole in hood OK - hood scoops OK.
4. Lower side skirting OK.
5. You are allowed to skin doors.

1. Minimum of three (3) windshield bars in front of driver.
2. Aluminum high back racing seat only, bolted to cage. Seat may be no further back than front edge of B-pillar.
3. All holes in floor board and fires walls must be covered with sheet metal. No other interior covers allowed. No boxing in of driver’s compartment.

FRONT SUSPENSION

1. All components and mounts must be steel, unaltered OEM, in OEM location and match frame.
2. OEM rubber A-frame bushing only.

1. All components must be steel unaltered OEM, in OEM location and match frame.
2. OEM steering column may be replaced with steel steering shafts (collapsible steering shaft recommended) with steel knuckles only.
3. No steering quickeners, or remote power steering reservoirs.
4. Steering wheel and quick release may be aluminum.
5. Power steering pump must be OEM.
6. No aftermarket steering parts.

1. One (1) OEM or OEM replacement shock per wheel. Racing shocks allowed.
2. All four (4) shocks must be in stock location and stock mountings.    

1. One steel spring only in OEM stock location.
2. NO adjustable shackles.

1. All components and mounts must be steel, unaltered, OEM, in OEM location and match frame.
2. OEM rubber control arm bushing only.
3. No independent rear suspension allowed.
4. No pan hard bars, spring rubbers, chains or cables allowed.

1. Must be OEM for that car, GM-to-GM & Ford to Ford with the exception below. Must run OEM axles.
2. Must weld spider gears or may run mini spool. No torque dividing or limited slip differentials allowed. No aluminum spools allowed.
3. 9 inch Ford rear ends allowed.
4. NO FLOATERS.

1. Bumpers must be approved OEM in OEM location. May have tube bumpers as long as they fit the car to OEM type bumpers.
2. Bumpers must be capped on the ends, with NO sharp edges.

1. IMCA Hoosiers, street tires, Southwest Speed 8 inch tires OK. G60 Dirt or KK 704 American Racer tire OK. Hoosier 8" asphalt pull offs only, no new tires.
2. 8 inch wheels only. No bead locks.
3. Wheel spacers allowed. No adapters allowed.
4. One-inch OD lug nuts mandatory on all four (4) wheels.
5. No bleeder valves.
6. Grooving OK.

1. Steel, unaltered OEM or unaltered OEM replacement, operative on all 4 wheels.
2. Brakes must match car. Master cylinder must be OEM location.
3. No antilock brake systems. No aftermarket brake pedal assemblies, brake shut-off, or bias adjusters allowed.
4. Steel brake lines only. May drill flanges and rotors to take larger wheel studs.
5. No disc brakes on rear end. Drum brakes only.

1. OEM cast iron manifolds only. No ram horn type exhaust. No headers. NO AFTERMARKET MANIFOLDS.
2. Must run exhaust pipes. No pipe on either side can be any longer than four (4) foot long.
3. Exhaust must be under car type and must be secured properly.

1. Must run OEM mechanical push rod fuel pump only.
2. A. OEM 4 barrel Rochester Quadra Jet carburetor: May remove choke plate.
   B. 2 barrel Holly (4412) with 1-inch adapter to manifold: No modification - stock only.
   C. Spread bore Holley carburetors: Must be a single line, single pump, vacuum secondary and must bolt directly to cast iron Quadra Jet intake manifold with 1-inch adapter only (Edelbrock 600) with no modifications.
3. Must run fuel cell, with metal container enclosure. 22 gallon maximum.
4. Pump gas or racing fuel – No alcohol.

1. 3200 lbs. with driver after the race on TSS scales.
2. Bolt on weight is OK and should be painted white with your car number.
3. No lightening of car by any means allowed except the removal of unneeded sheet metal and under hood equipment.

1. One 12-volt car battery only.
2. Must be mounted in approved battery box.
3. Must run OEM distributor.

1. Coolers must be mounted in front of radiator.
2. All forward and reverse gears must be operational.
3. A.   Manual: Must be unaltered OEM 3 or 4 speeds, with minimum 10.5” clutch.
              1. Hydraulic clutch release bearings are OK.
              2. Steel unaltered flywheel only with minimum weight of 24 lbs and stock type pressure plate. NO altering allowed.
   B. Automatic: Must be unaltered OEM, with unaltered pump.
               1. Must be in original bell housing, with minimum 10” torque converter and converter must hold minimum of three (3) quarts of fluid.
               2. Must have shield around outside of converter housing. Flex plate must be full, unaltered OEM, or OEM replacement.
4. Drive shaft MUST BE PAINTED WHITE and must have a safety chain or drive shaft loop.
5. Must have blow-proof bell housing.

1. Engine must be OEM location using OEM mounting holes for V8 motor mounts. Motor mounts must be OEM stock.
2. Cross member must remain stock and unaltered in the stock location.

1. Steel OEM V-8 Block only. NO GM BOWTIE, FORD SVO OR MOPAR W-2 BLOCKS, HEADS OR INTAKES ALLOWED.
2. NO GM POWER PACK HEADS. NO DOUBLE HUMP HEADS. OEM only.
3. Stroke must match block. NO 400 or larger cubic inch parts allowed.
4. Maximum 361 c.i. for GMs, 363 c.i for Fords & 370 c.i.for Mopars.
5. Must use OEM or OEM like pistons. Flat top pistons only.
6. Stroke 3.48” for GMs and 3.5” for Fords & Mopars – Rod 5.75” GM, Ford & Mopar.
7. TSS approved OEM GM cylinder head. No Vortex head. No Ford after-market SVO heads. No Mopar after-market W-2 heads. 360 heads only. No aftermarket heads allowed. NONE.
8. No 305 heads allowed on GM 350. 305 heads can only be on a 305 GM block.
9. No headwork can be done on the heads. Only machine shop work will be flat milled only. No angle milling. No cutting heads for larger springs, valve guides or bosses.
10. 190 intake valves. 150 exhaust valves. Must have four (4) valve reliefs.
11. Open chamber heads only. Must pass 76 c.c. test. No close chamber heads allowed. NONE.
12. No roller rocker arms. No roller tip rocker arms. Must use stock rocker ratio of 1.5” for GM. May use screw in studs.
13. Cannot machine block, other than flat surface deck height. Piston cannot be higher than block. No zero piston deck height allowed.
14. Intake must have unaltered OEM 4-barrel cast iron Quadra Jet manifold. No aluminum hi-rise, marine, or vortex intakes. No porting polishing or alterations of any kind to head and/or intake.
15. Aluminum water pump and crankshaft pulleys are OK.
16. Camshaft lift not to exceed .450” at the valve on intake/exhaust. No tolerance. This is basically a stock profile camshaft. No special grinds are allowed. Hydraulic only. OEM ONLY. No bleed down lifters.
17. Must pull 16” of vacuum at 1000 RPM after race.

2013 Tri-State Speedway Enduro Race Rules

1. Each race will be 100 laps, 2 hours or down to last car running, whichever comes first. The race is limited to the first 80 PAID entries.
2. PURSE: 1^st- $1000, 2^nd- $500, 3^rd- $250, 4^th- $125, 5^th- $75. This purse is GUARANTEED regardless of entries.
3. Drivers and riders must have a valid driver’s license to race in this event.
4. Entry fee is only $60 per car and pit passes are $30. Riders must purchase a pit pass. All riders must come with their driver to the registration window to sign release and pay their $10 rider fee. If you wish to pre-enter, you may mail your check or money order to: Tri-State Speedway, PO Box 8315, Fort Smith, AR 72902. However, you (and your rider) must still come to the sign in window to sign in on the day of the race.
5. Each driver must provide their own scoring spotter. If you do not have your own scorer, you will not be allowed to compete in the race.
6. Car & Body: Absolutely NO race cars allowed in this event. That would include any car running in any division at any race track in the past and present. THIS RACE IS FOR STRICTLY STOCK CARS!
7. Any 1960 or newer 2-door or 4-door car is eligible. NO vans, NO convertibles, NO four wheel drives, NO jeep type vehicles. The only trucks allowed are ½ ton or smaller 2-door pickup trucks. Cars may be rear or front wheel drive. 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines are ok. Minimum stock wheelbase allowed is 102 inches for V-8,  88 inches for V-6 or 4 cylinder….NO TURBOS.
8. Roll cage optional but recommended. Gutting of factory interior panels only allowed for roll cage clearance. Example: You may remove the inner door bracing if you are replacing it with door bars.
9. NO bracing in the bumper areas. However, bumpers should be chained or cabled as a safety item to help retain the bumper.
10. All doors must be welded, chained or bolted shut.
11. Windshield must be removed. MUST HAVE steel safety screen or bars on windshield opening. Side and rear window glass must be removed. All mirrors must be removed.
12. Racing approved shoulder harness and lap belts are recommended. Racing seats allowed.
13. The rear seat shelf must be left in as a fire stop and any openings to the trunk area must be enclosed.
14. Complete bumper to bumper steel uni-body must be retained. No lightening permitted.
15. The stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewalls, trunk and wheel wells must be retained.
16. Cars must retain their strictly stock appearance, no cutting, chopping, channeling or shortening allowed. Hoods must be kept in place at all times.
17. Gas tanks must be original and in stock mounting position. Rupture of your gas tank and/or loss of gas will require an immediate BLACK flag.
18. Batteries may be relocated in a securely fastened covered plastic or rubber container.
19. All plastic grills must be removed or replaced with screen mesh. Headlights, taillights and their trim must be removed. All outer trim must be removed.
20. Mesh window nets are permitted, but must be removable.
21. Only ONE rider per car.
22. MANDATORY One fire extinguisher per vehicle. The fire extinguisher must be mounted securely to the floor board.
23. Car Numbers: The doors (front doors on 4-door vehicles) will be used to paint the car number. Your ar number will be your pill draw number and your starting position.
24. Minimum number size 18 inches tall that YOU must paint with bright contrasting color. Bring your paint! If number is not clearly readable from scorer’s tower, your car may not be scored.
25. Suspension: Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model car. No spacers, lumber or chains, etc. may be used to alter stock suspension of that car.
26. Wheels: Stock steel or original equipment aluminum wheels only.
27. Tires: DOT legal tires must pass thru a 9 inch hoop at the bulge. This will be enforced on all entries including pickup trucks. No Gumball tires. NO “DOT” stamped racing tires. NO truck tires. NO all-terrain tires. NO mud tires. NO treated tires. NO grooving or siping allowed. You will be allowed to change flat tires and must be done ONLY in designated area in the infield.
28. Weight: NO additional weight may be added to the car.
29. Engine: The engines must be strictly stock for that model and make and in its original mounts. NO aftermarket external oil coolers. A/C and heat components may be removed. Smog equipment may be removed and allows for the removal of catalytic converters. Air cleaner to oil pan must be all factory equipment! Original or stock replacement exhaust system. NO aftermarket headers. Mufflers required. NO straight pipes.
30. Transmission: Stock transmission and rear end only. NO aftermarket external oil coolers.
31. Radiators: Only one radiator can be used. Radiator must remain in original position, no coolant or gas lines in the driver area of car. NO ANTI-FREEZE ALLOWED.
32. Miscellaneous: NO locked rears. Full face helmet required.
33. Starting Position: This will be determined by pill draw. The number you draw will be your car number that will be painted on the front doors of your vehicle.
34. NO radios or push-to-talk devices may be used to communicate with driver.
35. There is NO practice for this event. 

ANY DRIVER WHO WINS 2 OUT OF THE 3 EVENTS IN 2013 WILL RECEIVE A $300 BONUS

2013 Tri-State Speedway Demolition Derby Rules 

1. Eligible vehicles: Open to any American or foreign manufactured street cars and mini-vans. No convertibles, jeeps, 4-wheel drive cars or pick-ups. These vehicles are to remain STOCK for make and year with the exception of the modifications that follow. NO cutting, chopping, channeling, or shortening allowed. Wheel wells and fenders CANNOT be cut. The engine, rear-end (or trans axle), and transmission must remain STOCK. NO race cars, street stocks, pure stocks or similar.
2. Entrants: All drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
3. Communications: No radios, cell phones, race receivers of any kind will be allowed.
4. Appearance: Lettering must be in good taste as not to offend anyone. Themed cars are allowed and encouraged.
5. Boundaries: There will be boundaries on both ends of the front straight away. All cars must remain inside this area during the competition.
6. Battery: If battery is relocated (recommended to be moved to driver’s compartment) it MUST be contained in a marine type container and securely fastened by using metal straps. No bungee or rubber straps allowed. Two batteries of any type and size are allowed.
7. Glass, Dash, Firewall, and Interior: All interior and exterior glass MUST be removed. Plastic interior trim and seals not used MUST be removed. There MUST be a firewall between the driver’s compartment and the trunk. It is recommended to leave the interior panel on driver’s door for protection. (If removed you must add padding in its place.) Bars, not to extend more than 8” on either side of the driver’s door) may be added to driver’s door ONLY for safety, but in no way can they strengthen the frame.
8. Brakes: Must have dependable brakes at all time during the competition.
9. Doors: All doors must be welded (at least four (4) 1” welds per door) or chained shut with two (2) chains per door.
10. Engine: MUST remain stock for that make and model and in its original mounts. Radiator MUST remain in STOCK position or be taken out. Fan blade MUST be removed. Exhaust through the hood is OK.
11. Gas Tank: If gas tank is left in original position, the straps must not be rusted, or replaced if needed. If gas tank is relocated to the trunk, it must be strapped in place with at least four (4) 1” wide straps and rear firewall MUST be sealed completely with sheet metal. All gas tanks MUST be secure with no leaks. It is recommended to only carry enough fuel onboard for the event.
12. Safety: All entrants MUST wear a full face helmet. A fire suit is highly recommended. If no fire suit, a long sleeved, heavy shirt, long pants (jeans), and shoes/boots are required.
13. Seat and Seat Belts: Seat must be securely mounted. Lap and shoulder belts must be securely mounted and in working condition. It is recommended to add a rear support for the driver’s seat.
14. Suspensions: Must remain completely STOCK for that make and model. No air-shocks or helper springs allowed.
15. Frames and Bumpers: NO welding or addition of metal to the frame. Any protruding objects from frame must be removed. Bumpers MUST remain stock. No extra brackets or reinforcements.
16. Steering: All steering components MUST remain completely STOCK and cannot be altered or reinforced.
17. Hoods and Trunks: May be bolted down or wired shut in four (4) places. No welding allowed. Hoods and trunks must be able to be opened for inspection at any time.
18. Tires and Wheels: 8” wide maximum width. No racing tires or studded tires. No liquids in tires allowed. No double tires or solid rubber tires.

2013 Tri-State Speedway Smith Chevrolet “B” Modified Rules

This is a USRA "B" Modified sanctioned class.

FRAMES

1. Factory production complete full American passenger frames only. Frame rails must extend to a point beyond the base of driver's seat. Rear clip may be fabricated out of tubing. Front and rear pick-up loop required; otherwise bumpers or other pick-up point will be used.

BODIES

1. Same as A-Mod bodies. Exceptions: no spoilers, no spoiler sides, no nose wings.
2. Bodies: The right side passenger side of the car the tire should be the widest point of the car, the body should not extend out past the tire. The left side driver’s side of the car the body may extend 1" past the tire.
3. Rear Sail Panels: Must extend from the roof to the rear of the car and be the same on both sides.  4" max at rear, gradual slope from roof to this point. 1" max curve in center. Sail must be flush at the rear deck & may angle back no more than 2 “ past the deck at top of the sail at the 4" mark.

WHEEL BASE

1. 108 inches minimum. 112 inches maximum both sides.

ROLL CAGE

1. Must consist of continuous hoops not less than one and one-half inches outside diameter and must have a wall thickness of at least .095”. Must be frame mounted in at least six (6) places. Body mounted roll cages not acceptable.
2. Must consist of configuration of front and rear hoops connected by tubing on sides or side hoops in a manner deemed acceptable by the inspector. Driver's head must not protrude above cage with helmet on while strapped in driver's seat.
3. Roll cage must have a 3/16 “ inspection hole in non-critical area. Must have at least three (3) horizontal bars at driver's door welded to front and rear of roll cage members.

WEIGHT

1. Spec. Engine: Minimum weight for spec engine using a clutch is 2500 lbs after race.
   a. Minimum weight for spec engine using a power glide is 2525 lbs after race. 25 lbs must be added in front of mid plate when using a power glide.
   b. Minimum weight for spec engine using aftermarket transmission is 2550 lbs after race. 50 lbs must be added in front of mid plate when using aftermarket transmission.
2. Crate Engine: Minimum weight for crate engine using a clutch is 2400 lbs after race.
   a. Minimum weight for crate engine using a power glide is 2425 lbs after race. 25 lbs must be added in front of mid plate when using a power glide.
   b. Minimum weight for crate engine using aftermarket transmission is 2450 lbs after race. 50 lbs must be added in front of mid plate when using aftermarket transmission.
3. All lead must be securely mounted with 2 ½” bolts.  Lead must be painted white & have your car number on it.

WHEELS

1. Ten (10) inch wheels are legal until June 30th, 2013.
2. Wheel width must not exceed eight (8) inches. No aluminum wheels. Bead locks allowed on right rear only.
3. Wheel discs (Mud Plugs) allowed but must be bolted or welded or foam type. No ZUS fasteners.

TIRES

1. Ten (10) inch tires (asphalt take-offs – no new tires) are legal until June 30th, 2013.
2. American Racer G-60 (KK704) modified tires. Maximum tire width of nine (9) inches mounted on a conventional one-piece steel wheel with a maximum width of eight (8) inches.
3. Tires maybe re-grooved.

DIFFERENTIAL/REAR END

1. Any passenger car type or truck rear end may be used.
2. No aluminum. Full spools permitted. No quick-change devices allowed.
3. Floater rear ends are allowed.
4. 16” is the minimum length rear trailing arms can measure from center to center. 1” tolerance from side to side.

BRAKES

1. Disc or drum brakes may be used front and rear.
2. No aluminum disc or brake calipers allowed.
3. Brakes must be operational on all four (4) wheels and must lock up all four wheels during inspection.

FUEL SYSTEMS

1. Gasoline only. No oxygen bearing additives. No pressurized fuel systems.
2. Fuel cells mandatory. Fuel cells must be encased in an approved metal container of no less than 20-gauge steel or 1/8 inch aluminum. Fuel cells must be mounted between frame rails as far forward as possible and using four, two (2) inch by 1/8 inch metal straps, two in each direction.
3. Bumper must be equipped with a drag loop extending below bottom of the cell.
4. Fuel cells must not extend below the rear end housing.
5. 32 gal. maximum.
6. No electric fuel pumps.

BUMPERS

1. Bumpers must be used front and rear.
   a. Front bumper must be mounted on frame end and be of a semicircle configuration with the bottom loop parallel to the ground. Front bumper must be ten (10) inches high from bottom bar to top of top bar. Material must be one and one-quarter inch minimum, two-inch maximum O.D. steel pipe.
   b. Rear bumpers may be constructed of pipe, square tubing, but must not have sharp edges. Rear bumpers and nerf bars must not extend beyond width of rear tire.
2. Bumpers must be able to support car when lifted by wrecker.

SEAT AND SEAT BELTS

1. Racing seat mandatory.
2. All cars must be equipped with an approved quick release type seat belt and shoulder harness securely fastened to frame and roll cage. Seat belt material should be at least three (3) inches wide AND CANNOT BE OLDER THAN 2 YEARS.
3. Seat and steering wheel may be located to suit driver's taste, but must be kept on left side of car.
4. No center steer.

ENGINE OPTIONS

1. CRATE ENGINE: Unaltered sealed GM crate engine #88958602.  Any different, altered, or missing GM seal bolts will result in disqualification, loss of all track points for the season, and a one year suspension.
2. SPEC. ENGINE: Must use OEM cast iron, American make V-8 engines only. All engines must be able to be used in conventional passenger car without alterations. External engine casting and threaded holes cannot be altered. No aluminum, titanium or carbon fiber components allowed.  Maximum cubic inch limits: GM 361 c.i., Ford 360 c.i., Chrysler 370 c.i., no tolerance. No 400 or larger cubic inch parts allowed.  No aluminum valve train parts allowed.  Engine must appear stock.  Only stock appearing crank and rods allowed. No H Beam Rods. No knifing or profiling of crankshafts. No lightening of any kind to crankshaft. No aluminum / lightened or light weight engine parts allowed.  A minimum 1-inch plug above the oil level in the side of the oil pan mandatory.  If you do not have an inspection plug the oil pan will have to be removed at time of inspection. Plug must be put in a manner where crank shaft & rods can be seen for proper tech inspection by official or pan will have to be removed for inspection.
3. GENERAL MOTORS: Must be 3.48-inch stroke and 4.060-inch maximum bore.
4. COMPONENT GUIDELINES: Must use one of following blocks: 3892657, 3914678, 3932388, 3932386, 3956618, 3970000, 3970006, 3970010, 3970014, 10066033, 10066036, 14010207, 14010209, 14010287, 14016376, 14016379.

ENGINE LOCATION

1. Rear of engine (bell housing flange) must be at least 72 inches forward from the centerline of the rear axle.
2. The center of the crankshaft must be within two and one-half (2 1/2) inches of centerline of the ball joints.

GENERAL MOTORS

1. May use any stock or after-market stock replacement head. Vortec head is OK. No angle milling allowed. Porting or polishing is not allowed. Maximum 2.02” intake valves and 1.60” exhaust valves. 3/8” or 7/16” studs may be pinned or use screw in type with 11/32” valve stem minimum. Aluminum rocker arms allowed. Poly locks allowed. Stud bindles are allowed. No gasket matching allowed. Flat top or dished pistons only. Must use flat tappet cam and lifters. No mushroom lifters. Cannot alter lift bores. May use oil restrictors. Valve spring size 1.437” and no larger. Any length push rods allowed. 10.5 to 1 compression maximum. 185 maximum cranking compression.

FORD

1. Stock cast iron blocks 260, 289, 302 or 351. Maximum 360 cubic inches. Any Ford cast iron OEM production cylinder head with in line valves (no canted valves) and with valves no larger than 2.02 inch intake 1.60 inch exhaust maximum. Head number: Ford World Products 53040, e351, Dart 13311112, RHS 35302.  No SVO heads or blocks. Flat top or dished pistons only. No porting, polishing, or alterations to heads of any kind. Flat milling allowed. Guide plates, screw in studs (0.375 inch max.) Poly locks allowed. No stud girdles. Stamped steel, OEM style, or stamped steel roller tip stud mounted (0.375 inch max.) Rocker arms only. Any length push rods allowed. OEM diameter springs must match heads.

CHRYSLER/DODGE

1. Stock cast iron blocks 318, 340 or 360. Maximum 370 cubic inches. Flat top or dished pistons only. Head number: RHS 20300, 20301. Any OEM factory production Chrysler heads allowed with inline valves (no canted valves) no larger than 2.04 inch intake and 1.70 inch exhaust. No porting, polishing, or alterations to heads of any kind. Flat milling allowed. No W-2 or aftermarket heads allowed. Chrysler may use OEM aluminum rocker arm bars. OEM diameter springs must match heads. Any length push rods allowed.

TRACK HAS OPTION TO ENFORCE THESE RESTRICTIONS WITH A CUBIC INCH PUMP GAUGE OR BY VISIBLY CHECKING PARTS AND PART NUMBERS. DISQUALIFICATION AND LOSS OF POINTS IF FOUND ILLEGAL.

SHOCKS

1. One steel, nonadjustable, unaltered shock per wheel only. All shock mounts, including screw jack type, must be welded. No external or internal bumpers or stops.
2. No coil over, air, or remote reservoir shocks. No Schrader valves or bladder type valve allowed.
3. Front half of any shock may be shielded.
4. One or all shocks may be claimed per event for $75 each.

FRONT SUSPENSION

1. Front suspension must match frame and be in stock location. Parts must be replaceable from stock OEM type parts from same type suspension except upper A-frame and A-frame mount.
2. Tube type upper A-frame may be used. Fabricated A-frame mount may be used but must be in stock location.
3. Lower aftermarket A-frame can be used but must be in stock location.
4. No fabricated spindles.
5. Adjustable strut bars can be used on front end only.
6. No coil over shocks allowed either front or rear.
7. One shock per wheel.
8. Steering box must be stock OEM type and be in stock location. No rack and pinion steering. No center steering.
9. Adjustable sway bars allowed.

REAR SUSPENSION

1. TWO OPTIONS: Aftermarket three link design or multi-leaf spring design. All components must be steel. All mounts and brackets must be welded or bolted solid. You may not run a dampening shock above the rear end. No limiting device, chains, tethers, straps of any kind will be permitted on front or rear suspension.
2. THREE LINK DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Must use minimum 16 inch center to center of heims. Lower trailing arms both sides needs to be the same, (1/2 “ tolerance ). No swing arms. Solid pull bars are required, no spring bars, rubber bushings or any type of torque devise. Pull bar must be mounted solid (no rubber or any type of cushion in the mounting bracket) must be located at top center of rear end housing and remain centered on housing over drive shaft (1inch tolerance left to right). May use minimum 23 inch long pan hard bar located behind rear end housing or minimum 19 inch long J-bar mounted to a steel pinion bracket.  Measurements are from center of heim joint to center of heim joint. May mount rear spring directly over axle housing or use coil over eliminators (sliders). Lower spring perch or coil cover mount must be welded to rear end housing. No birdcages or floating mounts allowed. Must use steel upper weight jack if springs are mounted over axle housing. No shock type eliminators.
3. MULTI-LEAF SPRING DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Leaf spring must use steel multi-leaf springs with no additional suspension components besides one shock per wheel. Adjustable aluminum lowering blocks allowed. No coil springs can be used with leaf springs. No altering of leafs of any kind, no taping, no cutting, no greasing. Must run the same rate of leaf spring on both sides.                         

REAR END

1. Any steel approved OEM passenger car or truck non-cambered rear end allowed, must be centered in chassis.
2. All components must be steel, except lowering blocks, axle cap, and drive flange. Safety hubs (floater) allowed.
3. No quick-change devices. Inspection hole in housing required. Mini-spools only. Ring gear, center section and yoke cannot be lightened.
4. Solid steel axles and one piece drive flanges only.
5. 16” is the minimum length rear trailing arms can measure from center to center. 1” tolerance from side to side.

CARBURETOR

1. CRATE MOTOR: May use any Holley 4 barrel carburetor, all components (float bowls and main body) must be Holley manufactured. Metering blocks and base plate may be billet aluminum non-Holley. No aerosol-style carburetors allowed. May use one inch thick carburetor spacer, must use Moroso part #64940 or a 2" open plastic spacer allowed with GM crate. Maximum 0.100 inch thick carburetor gaskets only.
2. SPEC. MOTOR: Must use stock Holley 4412 500 CFM carburetor only. No Modifications. No adjustable metering blocks. Choke horn must be intact. May remove choke butterfly. Must use Edelbrock Performer  4 bbl. intake manifold.  GM 2101,2116 when using vortex heads Ford 2121, Chrysler 2176 ONLY.  No Performer RPM or air gap manifolds.  Must use Mr. Gasket part No. 1933, Moroso part. No. 64966, Speedway part no. 910-11510, or HVH part. No. 4412-2 carburetor adaptor. Carburetor claim $175 & trade. Top 4 cars are subject to carburetor claim. Claim must be made within 5 minutes after checkered flag drops & car claiming carburetor must be on lead lap. Refusal of claim results in loss of pay & points for night & 2 week suspension.

OIL PANS

1. Extra capacity oil pans are permitted. No dry sumps allowed.
2. Oil pump must mount in stock position.

STARTER

1. Engine must have working starter and must be capable of starting car on demand.

TRANSMISSION/DRIVE SHAFT

1. All forward and reverse gears must be operational, plus a neutral position. With engine running and car in still position, driver must be able to engage car in gear and move forward, then backward. No ‘in and out’ boxes or quick-change devices allowed.
2. Functioning shift levers must be in OEM location.
3. One steel or aluminum OEM style/size flywheel or steel OEM style/size flex plate allowed, must be bolted directly to end of crankshaft.
4. Automatic: Must be unaltered, two or three speed, OEM production case with a functioning stock appearing pump. Must have an approved scatter shield constructed of .125-inch by three-inch steel, 270 degrees around top of flex plate.  Splined drive flange coupler with internal pressure relief device, gate valve, or torque converter (10-inch min) only. Hydraulic lines may not extend in to cockpit.
5. Manual: Must be unaltered, two, three or four speed in OEM production case. No five (or more) speeds allowed.  Must have working clutch inside explosion-proof steel bell housing with one hole for throw out bearing lever or hose, must be 270 degrees around top of clutch and flywheel area.  MINI-CLUTCH ALLOWED.  Components must rotate, consistent with engine RPM, while car is in any gear.
6. OPTION:  May use aftermarket transmission - Bert, Brinn or Falcon. Refer to weight rule section.

DRIVE SHAFT

1. Minimum two-inch diameter, white, steel drive shaft. Steel slip-yokes only.
2. 360-degree drive shaft loop required and must be constructed of at least .25-inch by two-inch steel, or one-inch tubing, mounted six inches back from front U-joint.

BATTERY

1. All batteries must be mounted in a safe manner.

HELMETS & FIRE SUITS

1. Helmets are required and must be worn at all times car is on the track.
2. All drivers must wear fire suits of a flame-retardant nature. Two-piece suits are allowed.
3. Fire resistant gloves are mandatory. Fire resistant boots are highly recommended.

EXHAUST

1. Round tube headers only. All primary header tubes must enter directly into one collector, at same point at the end of header. No extensions on header. Turn down allowed. No stepped header allowed.
2. No exhaust sensors, cross-overs, extensions, merge collectors, inserts or balance tubes. No Tri-Y Headers.
3. Exhaust must be directed away from areas of possible fuel spillage. No zoomies. No 180 degree headers.

GAUGES/ELECTRONICS

1. 12-volt ignition system only. HEI distributor only. OEM firing order cannot be changed. Ignition rotor, cap, coil and module must remain OEM appearing.
2. No ignition boxes, remote coil or accessories when using the 360 HP spec engine. All cars must use part # MSD 8728 Soft Touch Rev Control box. Must be mounted out of reach of driver.
   a. 602 CRATE: mandatory 6200 RPM chip.
   b. SPEC ENGINE: mandatory 7000 RPM chip.
3. All wiring must be visible for inspection.
4. Only gauges allowed are analog oil pressure and water temperature and analog tachometer (memory recall allowed). No electronic traction control allowed.
