There has been a recent update/clarification to the line-up procedures. This update is in reference to the new passing point system that will be in place for the 2013 season and relates to how a driver will "qualify" for the "A" Feature. You can find these updates/clarifications by clicking, or hovering, on the "Rules" tab above and then on the "General Rules." The updated rules are from rule #4 through #10.

There has also been a rule addition to the Factory Stock rules. A rule was added under the "Engine" rules to state the maximum compression allowed per cylinder. This new rule is now rule #2 and can be found by clicking, or hovering, on the "Rules" tab above and then on the "Factory Stock" tab.

The Smith Chevrolet "B" Modifieds are now officially sanctioned by the USRA and will be eligible for regional and naitonal USRA "B" Modified points.

Also note a rule change concerning the 10" tires on the Smith Chevrolet "B" Modifieds. You will now only be allowed to run a 10" wheel/tire until June 30th, 2013.

Day #3 saw 214 cars pack themselves into every available pit space that could be found. Breaking it down by class there were: 5 Southern Sport Modifieds, 32 Late Models, 40 Factory Stocks, 41 Economy Modifieds, 48 Super Stocks, and 48 USRA Modifieds.

Tonight will feature a FULL race program for the Late Models and "A" feature racing for the Factory Stocks, Super Stocks, Economy Modifieds and USRA Modifieds. Plus, there will be two Economy Modified "B" features, two Super Stock "B" features, two Factory Stock "B" features, and three Modified "B" features.

WOW! Can we say that there is going to be a LOT of racing on the legendary high banks tonight? I think we can!

Don't forget their will be a Costume Contest for the fans on tonight at intermission with cash prizes!

Due to excessive rain yesterday and forecasted storms tonight, tonight's races have been cancelled for the safety of the fans and drivers.  Please join us for the first night of the SPOOKER starting Wednesday at 6 PM.

The official hotel has been announced for The 33rd Annual Spooker ... the ORIGINAL and still the BEST on October 17th-20th!

This Saturday night, October 13th, will be Fan Appreciation Night presented by Coca-Cola. Grandstand admission will be only $20 a car load for a full night of racing in all five classes and more, including $1 hot dogs! So cram your cars, trucks, vans or even buses full and come out and hang with us. This will be a national points race for the USRA Modifieds. ALL races will be lined up by pill draw for heats and features will be lined up by passing points and not point averages. This is the same procedure that will be used for the 33rd Annual Spooker starting on Oct. 17th and running through the 20th.

     This weekend's point races and Powder Puff races are presented by Carman, Inc.

This Saturday night, August 25th, 2012, Tri-State Speedway will present the Tillman Evans Memorial Races presented by Powerade/Coca-Cola. This will the 4th year for this event. Also, we will be having an "Old Timers" race for any of the retired drivers who want to come on out and show the young guys that they still got it!
