42nd Annual Firecracker Spectacular

Everyone needs to wear their orange Curtis Tennant T-Shirts or any orange shirt if you weren't able to get one.

The Ozark Vintage Racing Association (OVRA) will also be on hand with their classic restored race cars for show, racing and FREE rides for the kids after the race program.

Thanks to Darren Cat Bailey at Bailey Powder Coating and John and Carolyn Holderfield, the USRA A Modifieds will be racing for a possible $826 winner's check!

You will also be able to print out a copy of the rules from that location.

This class should include most area Pure Stocks and/or Street Stocks. If you have any questions on these rules, please contact Tim at 479.806.4101 for rule clarifications.

This class will run at Tri-State Speedway starting on Saturday, June 1st, 2013.

You will need to register with Tri-State Speedway to be eligible to race. You can do this by clicking on the registration tab above, by clicking here, or registering at the pit shack (which is not recommended.)
If you fill the form out online, you can either choose to email it to us or print it out and bring it with you. By doing so, it will prevent any errors in your name, address, sponsors, etc. and it will also speed up your first visit to the pit shack. Here is the payout for the Pure Stocks:
1st -  $200.00, 2nd -  $150.00, 3rd -  $125.00, 4th -  $100.00, 5th -  $80.00, 6th -  $60.00, 7th -  $50.00, 8th -  $45.00 and 9th -20th - $40.00. Pit passes are only $30, so if you start the "A" Feature you get your pass back and a little extra.

The kids will race their bicycles in three age categories: 5, 6 and 7 year olds; 8, 9, and 10 years olds; and 11 and older.

Memorial Day 2013

Last night during the start of the race program at Tri-State Speedway, military personnel, past and present, presented our nations colors during the National Anthem.
May we never forget what they do, and have done, for us and for the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Join us for a full night of regular point racing at 7:30 PM in all five classes including Factory Stocks, Super Stocks, Economy Modifieds, Smith Chevrolet USRA B Modifieds and USRA A Modifieds.

Also, as a result of the postponement last weekend, the deadline for registering for point fund money and awards has been extended until this Saturday, May 11th.

You may still register and run with us at any time, but if you have not paid your registration fee by this weekend, you will not be eligible for post season money or awards. Please double check and make sure if you have any questions or doubts. It is up to you to make sure you have paid.

Due to the rain, snow, cold and weather forecast for tomorrow, the 6th Annual Danny Martinez Memorial Races, presented by J-N-B Tire & Auto, have been postponed until May 18th.

Please make a note that we WILL NOT be racing tomorrow, May 4th.

6th Annual Danny Martinez Memorial Races

Above is this weekend's flyer for the 6th Annual Danny Martinez, Jr. Memorial Races and Law Enforcement, EMT, and Firefighters night at Tri-State Speedway.

ALL law enforcement, EMT's/Paramedics, and Fire Fighters will get in FREE with their ID's.

We invite EVERYONE to come out and support our "support" personnel who take care of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year!

We will also be raising money to help fund the Officer Daniel C. Martinez Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

JUST ANNOUNCED: There is a $100 "bounty" on anyone who can beat Factory Stock driver, Rick Edgerton, who has won four "A" Features in a row. To be eligible, your car must be 100% legal, by TSS Factory Stock rules and pass post-race inspection. The "bounty" will be paid only to the highest finishing car ahead of Rick in the "A" Feature. Rick must also finish the race for the "bounty" to be awarded.

This weekend, at 7:30 PM, J-N-B Tire & Auto in Poteau, Oklahoma along with Tri-State Speedway and many area law enforcement agencies will pay respects to officer Daniel Martinez, Jr. who lost his life in the line of duty in 2007.

We will also honor ALL area law enforcement, emergency medical technicians (EMT's) and paramedics, as well as all area fire fighters with a FREE night of racing in honor of what they do to protect and serve us on a 24, seven day a week, 365 days a year basis. All you have to do it present your badge or ID at the front gate for a FREE adult admission!

  Officer Daniel C. Martinez Jr., 33, had been with the Fort Smith Police Department for eight months when on March 23, 2007, he was dispatched to responded to a call to help a desperate mother get her 3yr old child from a residence where she had a run in with her ex-boyfriend earlier in the day.
